I already contacted the Dell Tech Support, but they will reply on Monday or Tuesday. I also tried to update each, but Windows reported that they were all up to date. Disabled and re-enabled the devices in device manager as noted in a Dell Community Support Thread, as well as any others that seemed to be related to the touch screen. The DV8P doesn't have a TouchPad anyway, so it doesn't make sense for me to have this driver. Attempted to install the Synaptics driver (from the Synaptics website) that the firmware update is unable to locate, but the installation reported as failed.Ran a full checkup scan from the Dell support utility that came installed on the device.Verify if the device is properly installed on the system.' I tried the following methods, but without any success. While researching possible solutions to this problem, I have found others with the same problem:

This left me with a disabled touch screen and no way to use the tablet. The Dell update program tried to do a Touch Panel Firmware update, but I accidentally turned off the screen during installation. As stated in the title, the touchscreen of my Dell Venue 8 Pro no longer reacts to any inputs.
